MINISTERS PRAISE AND WORSHIP TIME
Pastors-Associates-Music-Youth-ALL Ministers are invited to attend the Pastor’s Meeting on each Monday, 11:30 a.m. at the Gordon Memorial Baptist Association Office. Rev. Ron Bankson, President and Dr. William Roberts program chairman. Lunch to follow.

Damascus has called Rev. Kenny Sheriff as their pastor. He started in April.

Georgia Baptist Children’s Home–TRUCK LOADING
The Gordon Memorial Baptist Association will be conducting a truck loading project on Saturday May 7th. Please bring your gifts of love to the GMBA Office between the hours of 8 am to 12pm. Items most needed by the children at this time are: Coffee(regular/decaf), Creamer, Toilet Tissue, Paper Towels, Ramen Noodles, and gift cards are always appreciated. If you have any questions call 706-629-5139.

Church Hymnals : Do you have any Church Hymnal song books packed up at your church and not using them anymore? There is a church that needs 25-50 books. Call 770-548-5141 if you have them.

Blewer Food Center Volunteer Luncheon was held April 26, at Blackwood Baptist Church. Certificates were given to all the volunteers of Blewer and the Feed America program from WalMart. Three ladies received a certificate for 20 years of service, Carol Davis, Neta Smith and Willie Stanley. A memory table was set up for the volunteers that passed away this past year, Emily Wells, Helen Cochran, Dr. Woody Lee and Clint Harris.

Congratulations : Riverview received a letter from the Georgia Baptist Convention Sunday School Department naming Riverview on the top 100 list for growth, ranking as sixth in the intermediate size (101-199).

The Baptist Association MISSION DRIVEN CHURCH FOCUSED
Associational Emphasis Week is May 15-22. This week provides a great opportunity to let you know what the Baptist Association does in bringing support to help each church in the association. The association’s belief is that a healthy church will fulfill the Great Commission. Remember to pray for your Association Missionary Rev. Doug Ledford and Ministry Assistant Mrs. Ann Dooley and all those associated with the office. If we can help your church with anything, please call us 706-629-5139.
